How to Design and Administer a Survey
Friday May 20th 2011, Monterey, CA
In this intensive one-day seminar,
instruction is provided on the essential
elements of designing and administering
an online or hardcopy survey instrument.
Participants will learn how to identify
primary research questions and design
survey items that gather appropriate
kinds of data. Instruction will cover
development of multiple-choice, rating,
ranking, and open-ended survey items.
Other topics include analysis of
categorical and continuous data and
options for presenting research findings
graphically. Online survey design, survey
administration, and data analysis will be
demonstrated using two popular survey
software packages.
This training is ideal for managers and
administrators wanting to measure the
effectiveness of co-curricular and academic
programs through surveys.
Prior survey research experience is not
required.
