Assessment and Program Review Planning for Educational Institutions
PAER™ assists educational institutions in developing and implementing comprehensive assessment and evaluation procedures for their academic and co-curricular programs, and provides research training and methodological support. We help schools and colleges understand the strengths and limitations of their existing assessment and program review activities so they can build on past efforts while moving forward. In our experience, overcoming resistance to assessing student learning at the program-level entails, among other factors, providing guidance and structure that enables faculty and program administrators to be successful without an unreasonable expenditure of time and effort.
Independent Research
PAER™ conducts program evaluations, needs-assessments, customer and employee satisfaction surveys and other outcomes-based research for social service organizations, policy groups, educational institutions, government agencies and industry.
- Program Evaluation entails examining the goals, processes, inputs, outputs, and impacts of a program and identifies means by which a program can be improved.

- Needs Assessments describe existing resources and identify unmet service needs of a target population. Needs assessments provide information used in program and service development.
- Feasibility Studies assist decision-makers in determining whether to implement a particular program or policy. Feasibility studies examine viability and identify resources and strategies required for implementation.
- Customer Satisfaction Research assesses the extent to which individuals’ expectations are being met and identifies means by which their satisfaction can be improved. Customer satisfaction studies are useful for improving customer retention.
- Employee Satisfaction Research assesses employee perceptions of the quality of their work lives and identifies means by which employee fulfillment can be enhanced. This research is useful for improving employee morale, increasing productivity and reducing attrition.
