Focus Groups
PAER™ has extensive experience conducting focus groups and performing qualitative data analysis. We craft interview protocols around well-defined research objectives and pilot-test instruments prior to administration. We are detail-oriented and thorough, adhering to established research practices at all stages of a study to ensure high data quality. We have helped organizations plan and implement their own focus group research, but have facilitated the groups for the organization to reduce response bias.

- Focus groups were conducted with students who had participated in an honors program in a private Law School to better understand findings of statistical analyses that showed participation in the group positively impacted bar pass rates.
- Focus groups were conducted with graduating students of a private law school to gain insight into the extent to which their attitudes reflected attainment of the values and ethical principles set forth in the J.D. program learning outcomes.
- An online focus group was conducted with adult learners in an undergraduate program to understand survey findings that suggested they were dissatisfied with various aspect of their educational experience.
